They display them for the pubic to understand the dangers in owning these pets and take them to schools for educational programs.

Dinosaur Journey Museum
Dinosaur Journey tells the story of the history of life in western Colorado and surrounding areas with real fossils, cast skeletons and robotic reconstructions of dinosaurs. The hands-on, interactive museum includes paleontology displays, a working laboratory, a collections room, a simulated earthquake ride, a dinosaur library reading area, a sandbox and a “quarry site”.
Friends of Dinosaur Ridge
The Friends of Dinosaur Ridge maintains a Visitor Center and two interpretive trails. This area has been used by several generations of earth science teachers as an outdoor geology laboratory, and it has received several distinctive honors. Every year Dinosaur Ridge and Triceratops Trail are destinations for close to 100,000 dinosaur enthusiasts, earth scientists, students of all ages, and nature lovers.
John McConnell Math & Science Center
This unique facility is filled with exhibits and hands-on displays, which annually enrich the science and math education of thousands of Colorado students and teachers. Over a period of nine years, John McConnell has volunteered his time to teach scientific principles to kids through hands-on demonstrations that he created. After reaching about 5,000 students per year from the car, the Mesa Valley School District 51 school administration granted space for the math and science center.
Museum of Western Colorado
The Museum of the West offers a thousand years of history that can be experienced. "Ride" in a stagecoach, "fly" a 1958 Cessna from Walker Field or gaze upon an ancient cup and ladle from the Anasazi. Study Ute and Fremont Rock Art, see the real firearms that outlaws used, sit in a one-room schoolhouse and visit the Pastime saloon to experience western Americana at its best.
