CAST is always looking for outstanding science student teachers. 

We are currently seeking nominations for our Pre-Service Awards. If you sponsor(ed) a student teacher any time during this school year, and feel they have done an outstanding job, please consider nominating them for the CAST Pre-Service Award. 

Deadline for submissions due August 31st.

The winner of the award will receive $250.00 and a certificate. In addition, we will reimburse registration for the annual Colorado Science Conference. Any pre-service teacher who has student taught in Colorado during this school year's fall or spring term is eligible.

Nominee need not be a CAST member. However, all student teachers are allowed a free year membership to CAST. Go to Membership page for more details.
