CAST Rising Star Award
The Rising Star Award recognizes a new teacher with one to three years of experience who has demonstrated a passion and aptitude for teaching science. The same criteria for Excellence in Science Teaching will be used for evaluation, but consideration will be given to the formative state of the nominee. This award is presented each year at the Colorado Science Conference, in November, in the amount of $250. You need not be a member of CAST to receive this award.
Deadline for submission due May 7th .
