Why join CAST?

You'll find lots of reasons to join our statewide network of science educators. CAST exists to support, stimulate and improve science education at all levels. As a member, you'll have access to resources for professional development, opportunities for your students, classroom activities, grant opportunities, CAST-specific awards and grants, and discounts on certain programs.

Your CAST membership includes:

Professional Development Opportunities and Networking.  As a member, you'll learn about professional development opportunities through our website and social media (Facebook and Twitter.)  In addition to learning new science content, teaching strategies, and classroom activities, attending science workshops will provide many opportunities to network with fellow science teachers and other science professionals. Rural CAST members may apply for scholarships up to $100 to attend the Colorado Science Convention.
