We look forward to having you exhibit at CSC’s Advancing Inquiry Conference at CSU Spur on Oct. 25th.

Please find details and important information below:

Location& Unloading:

The Conference will be at CSU Spur. With over 55 registered exhibitors demonstrating your support for science education at the CSC, the Exhibit areas will be located throughout the entire CSU-Spur campus! This includes the Hydro Building (floors 1, 2, and 3), Terra/Hydro Bridge (3rd floor), Vida Lobby (1st floor), Vida Moose Alcove (2nd floor), and Vida Elks Landing (2nd floor).

Please enter 4777 National Western Drive into your GPS. Driving and parking directions link. We recommend you use the south route to get to CSU Spur as the Franklin Street Bridge will be closed for construction during our conference. If you need to take a north route, plan to come across the East 51st Avenue Bridge.

There is a loading zone directly outside of the different buildings where you can unload your belongings (see attached map). After unloading, please park in the Parking Lot north of the Vida Building labeled "P" on the attached map.

Exhibitor Arrival/Schedule:

You are able to start arriving at 6:45 am Friday the 25th. When you arrive, check in at the CSC Conference Registration in the lobby of the Hydro Building. The check-in/registration table is directly in front of the entrance doors and this is where you will receive your conference name tags. We will send out the map of where each exhibitor is located Monday the 21st. This will allow all exhibitors to identify the most convenient loading zone to utilize for set-up and tear down.

Please plan to set up your exhibit table on Friday, October 25th between 6:45 am - 8 am. High traffic times for visiting the exhibit hall may include during:

  • Morning participant registration beginning at 7:30 am,
  • Lunches 11:10 am - 1:00 pm,
  • Awards Ceremony/Reception 1:10-1:55 pm,
  • Wrap-up / credit hour certification distribution / final door prizes after the last session 4:00 - 4:30 pm.

Although booths do not need to be staffed, we will have a CSC Exhibitor BINGO style board to encourage attendees to explore the CSU-Spur campus and engage with all you, our incredible exhibitors. All registered exhibitors will be included. You are encouraged to have a punch, sticker, or special marker to indicate attendees have visited with you.

Please keep in mind that CSU-Spur is open to the public and there will be individuals who are not affiliated with the conference coming in and out of the buildings throughout the day.

Free wireless is available, however, it is a public network.  Electricity will be available in some areas of the exhibit hall.  If your exhibit requires electricity you will need to provide your own power strips/extension cords and please contact Amy Hill/Kristina Stem so that they can do their best to accommodate this need.

There will be food trucks providing lunches this year, and everyone who is at the conference will have a $10 coupon to use for lunch (THANK YOU CSU-SPUR!!!!!). The food trucks will be Barbed Wire Beef and Wild Taco. They will be provided a condensed version of their menu to facilitate speed and ease of orders. We will also have beverages being provided throughout the day (THANK YOU CAROLINA BIOLOGICAL!!!!): coffee and tea from 7-10 and sodas from 11-2. There will be drink stations in every building.

Sponsorships and Donations:

We are still seeking sponsors as well as door prizes to further spoil our amazing Colorado science educators.  If you would like to donate money (like to sponsor light snacks, expand our lunch vouchers, provide treats at our reception for our awardees, etc.) or if you would like to donate prizes of any kind (swag/kits/products/training/pd/field trip, etc.) for our door prize raffle, we would love to showcase you as a supporter of science/STEM in Colorado! Please contact Amy or Kristina!
